There are many different reasons for a visit to a trade fair, or to even have your own booth.

We at Setlog are never averse to presenting our product at the right event, both as a visitor and as an exhibitor.

Many trade fairs only take place every two years and as luck would have it, sometimes all at the same time. That was definitely the case for us in this first half year.

From May 14-17, 2019 we presented ourselves, just like in previous years, at Texprocess. 317 exhibitors from 34 countries presented the latest machinery, processes and services for processing textile materials to a total of around 26,400 visitors from 96 countries. This year’s Texprocess was particularly dedicated to highly innovative and digital topics such as 3D design, automated manufacturing processes, artificial intelligence and the increasing importance of digital networking. Of course we couldn’t miss it! As in previous years, we presented our OSCA systems tailored to our customers’ needs and were able to make interesting contacts, gain valuable feedback and make important experiences.

This year, Texprocess drew the attention to the exhibitors’ sustainability efforts for the very first time with the topic “Sustainability at Texprocess”. Sustainability is of particular importance to us. With our vendor compliance management software, we are addressing this issue and creating more transparency in the supply chain, as well as working and production conditions.

One of our highlights at Texprocess was the presentation “D1g1t1ze or D1e!” by our Sales Leader Christian Trappe. He pointed out the business opportunities that arise from digitization, but also clearly made a statement about the considerable risks and dangers that companies face if they refuse to accept industry 4.0. “The discussions that followed the presentation in particular showed us as a software company, how important it is for companies in the textile industry to deal with the issue of digitization,” said Christian Trappe.

Only one month after Texprocess, transport logistic in Munich followed. From June 4-7, the world’s logistics experts came together to talk about the latest and most important trends this year.
We had the pleasure of exhibiting at the joint stand of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and presented ourselves with other innovative companies from our area.

True to the motto “Do you like your Supply Chain simple?”, our newly developed limbiq platform was launched for the first time alongside our customer-specific, tailor-made OSCA solution. Our newly developed platform enables all partners, service providers and companies of the supply chain, which is a completely new way of working together.

The special thing about transport logistic, apart from the opportunity to present both our OSCA products and our new Supply Network, was the opportunity to create a completely new event platform.

For 18 years we have maintained close relationships with our customers, partners and long-standing friends. This year we took the opportunity to organize an exclusive event at the Munich trade fair in order to create a unique networking opportunity.
So we invited to an After-Fair Lounge Party on one evening and brought together different parties from politics, logistics and industry.

Customers as well as new and well-known partners were able to spend a warm summer evening with us over the roofs of Munich. It was a wonderful evening which we will definitely repeat!

With our daily work we stand for networking and for the close cooperation of all partners involved in the supply chain. We thrive for more transparency and for driving innovative trends that enable the digitization of the value chain.
With our events, weather we organize them ourselves, just visit or exhibit, we would like to transfer this from the online to the offline world.

For us, these are the decisive reasons why we have so many events on our calendar in 2019.

We look forward to the coming months and many more exciting encounters, discussions with industry experts and the advancement of digitization.
