(Nuremberg, March 10, 2026) – The xalution group, a leading international provider of consulting and IT services in the ERP and CRM environment and a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Business Applications, has entered into a strategic partnership with Setlog, a globally operating provider of cloud-based software solutions for supply chain management.
Effective immediately, both companies will combine their core competencies to more seamlessly connect ERP and supply chain processes. For the first time, the systems Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management and OSCA (Online Supply Chain Accelerator) will be connected via a standard connector.
The goal of the collaboration is to systematically bring planning and supply reality together, thereby strengthening the ability of modern retail companies to manage their operations sustainably. International companies with complex and dynamic supply chains in particular are expected to benefit from the new integrated solution.
“Today’s retail companies are dealing with complex and globally interconnected supply chains,” explains xalution CEO Tobias Endl regarding the decision to collaborate. He continues: “A powerful ERP system is indispensable in this environment. However, it is often not sufficient on its own to efficiently coordinate operational processes with numerous partners across the supply chain. Together with Setlog, we are bringing together what is planned and controlled within the ERP system and what actually happens across the supplier side of the supply chain in a single solution. This creates an integrated ecosystem that systematically aligns planning with supply reality. With its SCM software OSCA, Setlog offers a highly efficient tool for the easy onboarding of new suppliers and thus enables a high level of supply chain transparency.”
The objective is to enable greater transparency, data consistency, and seamless processes between ERP systems and the supply chain environment beyond the boundaries of the company itself. The corresponding integration concepts are already being jointly implemented.
Structured Coordination Between ERP and the Supply Chain
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management forms the operational backbone in many companies, reliably managing core business processes internally. OSCA, on the other hand, provides users with an externally focused, cloud-based supply chain management solution. In the retail sector, it has established itself as a best-of-breed solution for operational collaboration, particularly in complex supplier networks with numerous and frequently changing partners.
The partnership therefore pursues a clear strategic objective: both systems are to be integrated in a standardized way and delivered out of the box. Instead of developing custom interfaces for individual projects, a ready-to-use and proven integration solution will be created. This significantly reduces implementation effort, project risks, and time to value.
Guido Brackelsberg, Co-Founder of Setlog, explains: “Retailers are increasingly moving away from isolated transactions toward connected value networks. By tightly integrating OSCA with Microsoft Dynamics 365, companies gain a continuous and up-to-date view of their global supply chain — from the start of production at the factory to product availability in each sales channel. This gives companies transparency and control over their supply processes, enabling them to identify potential disruptions early and respond proactively. The combination of Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a system-centric ERP platform and OSCA as a network-centric specialized solution for operational collaboration with the external supply chain creates clear added value.”
Ulrich Spaan, Managing Director of the EHI Retail Institute, adds: “The integration of ERP systems with collaborative supply chain platforms is becoming increasingly relevant for many retail companies. As an industry platform, we welcome it when partners from our network join forces to advance transparency, speed, and control in complex supply chains.”
Challenges such as globally distributed production sites across different international time zones, increasing volatility in the transportation environment, varying levels of partner maturity, and growing compliance and sustainability requirements can be addressed effectively through the planned integration of the two systems.
