Adler Modemärkte increases Transparency in the Supply Chain

With this initiative the textile retailer, who has about 180 stores and more than 4,200 employees in Germany, Austria, Luxemburg and Switzerland, takes another step in its engagement for ecological and social sustainability. The cloud-based Vendor and Compliance Portal OSCA® from software specialist Setlog has been implemented in only three months.

With the help of a structured Onboarding Process, the suppliers are centrally informed about ADLER's requirements concerning social standards and ecology and obliged to adhere to them. Via a direct interface with the BSCI database, all relevant data is imported into OSCA® so automated compliance tracking of all commissioned suppliers and factories is made possible.

Additionally, all Codes of Conducts and guidelines are communicated via the portal to control supplier compliance.

"As a retailer we take our responsibility for our supply chain very seriously. With Setlog's portal we decided for a standard solution which is accepted in the market, offers a good price-performance ratio and brings us the desired level of transparency", explains Timo Billington, project manager with ADLER. "Operationally the system also offers immense benefits as all information is pooled there and doesn't have to be documented with the help of numerous Excel spreadsheets."
